Blue monday

Today is the most depressing day of the year. So glad I got up.

Blue Monday  was created by UK psychologist Cliff Arnall back in 2005.
“I was originally asked to come up with what I thought was the best day to book a summer holiday but when I started thinking about the motives for booking a holiday, reflecting on what thousands had told me during stress management or happiness workshops, there were these factors that pointed to the third Monday in January as being particularly depressing,” he says.

I could have pulled this idea out of my ass, and I can’t even tell you what photosynthesis is, though I pronounce it perfectly. I honestly don’t feel any more depressed than usual, though. Seems like a normal ho hum kinda cold as a witches tit Ohio morning to me. But it’s early yet.

Looks like Fats beat you to it, dude.

  1. This must be why I feel ever so much like crying today. It has nothing with being overwhelmed…it’s the 3rd Monday in January. Whew. And I thought I was going all human or something.

  2. My wife had a tough morning; this could explain it. Thanks for the hint, Merbear.
p.s. photosynthesis is when you photo copy two images of buttocks on top of each other. Feel free to call me a smartass.

  3. Playing it, I feel like getting up and side stepping across my study, then back 3 steps, to the side 2 steps, back to the front 3 steps, clicking my fingers on right hand as I do. Here was thinking it was because it was just a Monday (which was yesterday) as it’s Tuesday here and..ok that’s enough. :-) xx

Be nice..
