Awhile back, I submitted my fibro story to a website called New Life Outlook. If you’d like to check it out, click here.
Writing for me is a sort of self therapy and something that I have loved to do since I was young.
I write about many things such as fibromylagia, chronic pain and depression. Sometimes, I also make an attempt at being funny.

I’m sure this post can help people who have to live in a fibro-world too. Well done, it’s great that you try to be strong even with all that horrible pains.

Thank you…it’s sorta exciting to see my real name somewhere. 🙂

Great article Mer! I also looked around the site, great information. Now I am convinced I have fibro and have had it for a couple of years now. Just to convince my dr, as he thinks it’s all weight related or diabetes related. I’m not convinced of his thinking.

Thanks Jackie…and sometimes, we know more about ourselves than the doctors. It saddens me that you think you have fibro. 😦 *hugs*

I’m not too happy about it either, sigh, but it answers so many things, like being tired ALL the time, hurting all the time, having bruises come up with no explanation, rashes from nothing, so many different things. It’s exhausting just taking a shower. Man, I don’t need this. ((hugs to you too)) But I thought your article was dead on, we have to keep moving and keep seeing the humor in things.

Damn it. Yes, the shower thing is a pain in the ass…who knew that one of my favorite things to do could be so totally exhausting….
Humor is a godsend.
