Writing for me is a sort of self therapy and something that I have loved to do since I was young.
I write about many things such as fibromylagia, chronic pain and depression. Sometimes, I also make an attempt at being funny.
depression, friendship, mental health, thoughts
clinically depressed, Eeyore, friendship, shenanigans

If he would be different he wouldn’t be Eeeyore … and even when he is mostly sad and depressed, I like him more than the bear with the weird name…

I’ve always told people that I am more like Eeyore than Pooh or Tigger. :o)

And then Eeeyore married me …

Eeyore is a lucky guy then. 🙂

Maybe I just made an ass of myself!

Many people over the years have given me the honorable nickname of Eeyore.
Same here. How are you?
December 13, 2014 at 11:11 am
Struggling through most days, at best, but I guess overall ok. I am believing some people are simply stuck where they are due to choices, circumstances, and luck and I am one of those people.

Loved your post – exactly true. And Eeyore in the snow is perfect – he’d be complaining!
December 7, 2014 at 11:09 am
Thanks… 🙂 And I know I would be. LOL

You need Eeyores to balance out the overly energetic Tiggers.
I do love the point that he’s accepted just the way he is. 🙂
December 7, 2014 at 11:17 am
I agree. 🙂 And that is all I really want.
December 7, 2014 at 11:46 am
Being accepted for who we are is all anyone wants, I know I want that too. I think it’s especially hard for people with fibro. Or mental illness. What people can’t see, they don’t want to acknowledge.
December 8, 2014 at 10:48 am
Oh yeah. So then, we hold on tightly to the ones who do see. x
December 8, 2014 at 11:25 am
Yes, we do. ❤
December 7, 2014 at 12:30 pm
I have mostly related to eyeore and not been accepted. It is refreshing to meet others who relate to eyeore, too.
There are many of us. xx

Eeyore has awesome friends.
December 8, 2014 at 11:00 am
He does. 🙂
December 7, 2014 at 2:09 pm
I feel like eeyore these days – I wish my friends were as awesome as his though… maybe not rabbit, he’s weird.
December 8, 2014 at 11:05 am
Haha!!! Yes, he is weird. 😉

There is room for everyone. Personally I have always been a trigger which is probably annoying at times but we are what we are. ❤

I happen to like my Tigger friends. ❤

Point taken, Mer.
Excellent, Mark. 🙂

Are they sure Eeyore is depressed, or could his behavior be attributed to the fact that he constantly has a thumbtack sticking in his ass?
December 8, 2014 at 11:10 am
I think that could be a part of it. Eeyore’s tender rump.
December 8, 2014 at 10:51 am
Eeyore is the shit. 😀
December 8, 2014 at 11:11 am
He so is! 😀
December 8, 2014 at 12:30 pm
Good One, I never thought about Eeyore that way, but I did think I was about to have a seizure with all the little white spots flashing before my eye’s! Thanks!
December 8, 2014 at 12:32 pm
Don’t be hatin’ on the snow! LOL
December 8, 2014 at 12:37 pm

Maybe we should get t-shirts printed with this on. Well, an edited version. “I am Eeyore, please accept me for who I am” perhaps?
January 15, 2015 at 2:28 pm
I would wear it…I do have an Eeyore hoodie…it says Oh Bother. It would be nice if people could accept all of us as we are.
January 15, 2015 at 4:51 pm
I used to have a Tigger hoodie. I thought I’d left it here at my parents’. I may have to go looking for it now.
