Writing for me is a sort of self therapy and something that I have loved to do since I was young.
I write about many things such as fibromylagia, chronic pain and depression. Sometimes, I also make an attempt at being funny.
humor, lists, thoughts
dreary day, humor, leave a voice mail, linus, lists, nosy, reasons why we sigh, the universe

Because you realize people change.
Because you realize people stay the same.
Because you have over six hours left at work and you know that at least three are going to be hellish.
Plus everything you said 🙂

Yes, all of those and then some! I barely covered half of the reasons, thank you for the assistance. 🙂

I cried as I noticed that there was NO TP at that loo on the highway…and Mark squatted in the car like pegged instead to look at me… I had to weat nearly 30 minutes till he came to see what’s going…or what’s NOT going on…

I mean “wait” weat? oh yes some “weat” would help while waiting :o)
Does weat double as TP? :o)
January 16, 2015 at 11:06 am
it would make the waiting on a dirty loo better :o)

Insufficient TP is not to be tolerated. I keep LOTS of extra rolls in the bathroom, just in case.
Good plan…much easier than forgetting to check and then having to call for back-up.

Every week when I clean the bathrooms I check the supply and restock as necessary. I have no desire to get caught with my pants down, Klingons attacking, and no reinforcements.

We also sigh because it often requires less effort to sigh than to beat stupid and/or annoying people to a pulp.

Ha, no wonder I sigh so much! 🙂

To let the sad air out! That’s the best reason/description for a sigh I’ve ever heard.

Thanks! I do it all of the time. It helps.

I am a chronic sigh-er! LOL, whatever does that mean?
January 17, 2015 at 4:46 pm
That everyone keeps eating your cereal? 🙂

I like your list. I sigh a lot. I guess it’s better than yelling LOL
January 17, 2015 at 4:47 pm
Have you ever sigh-yelled before? Good times. LOL
January 17, 2015 at 5:47 pm
Oh yeah! lol
January 16, 2015 at 12:45 pm
Oh, the TP… You’d think we’d learn to look before we sit!
I’ve been sighing a lot lately – i think for all the reasons you describe!
We should form a club or something…lol.

Just yesterday I was noticing a lot of sighing coming out of my mouth. It took me by surprise because I could not figure out what was making me sigh. There was no obvious event that prompted me to sigh. I then realized that I was feeling anxious and restless about something and even though it was not obvious, it made me sigh away! It’s also a good way to catch your breath. 🙂

My husband asks me constantly why I am sighing, so I thought a list was in order. Anxiety seems to be my biggest reason, followed by just feeling down. Great way to let that sad out! 🙂

“to let the sad air out” what a great sentence. I have a bad habit of holding my breath especially when upset. Big deep sad breath in, let the sad air out. In case no one has told you today “you are a gifted writer” merby.

Aw shucks, GS. You were the first and only to say that to me yesterday and I needed it. Thank you. xx

When you realize the f, s, and both b words shouted out loud would be too inappropriate.
January 17, 2015 at 4:48 pm
I’ve gotten myself in trouble with that sort of thing before, Mark. Shit!! See? 🙂
January 17, 2015 at 5:06 pm
Me, too, Mer. Me, too. 😦
