I could walk for miles

And never feel a pain

I could bend and twist

My body did not complain

I didn’t need drugs

To take away the funk

My reality is like a drawer

Filled with useless junk

Wading through the endless mud

With boots up to my knees

My raft has a hole in it

As I charter this turbulent sea

I don’t look bruised from afar

Squint and take a better look

I am shaded a purplish blue

Forever dangling from this hook
